Q. Do you charge a call out charge?
A. No, we do not charge a call out charge during normal working hours(9am-5pm). We charge a hourly labor only rate upon arrival.
Q. How much will the work cost?
A. Unfortunately, without being on site it is not possible to provide a figure. The time of day that you need assistance, the type of service, materials and parts required will all contribute to the final cost of work.
Q. How do I pay?
A. Immediate payment in full by cash, debit/credit card to the attending engineer.
Q. My washing machine/dishwasher is broken, can you fix it?
A. Sorry no, you need to contact an appliance engineer for a repair, not a plumbing/heating engineer.
Q. My electric shower is broken, can you repair it?
A. In most situations, it is not cost effective to repair broken electric showers. It is more economical to replace your old electric shower with a brand new one, which comes as standard with a 2 year manufacturers guarantee
Q. Will my water and toilets still work during works?
A. We will try to minimize disruption to services during works, but may need to temporarily remove access to water,gas and electric. We recommend storing emergency water in buckets,pans and kettles before works begin.
Q. If we supply our bathroom suite, can you fit it?
A. Yes, provided it is not a showroom x-display or second hand suite. Unfortunately we are unable to offer any guarantee/warranty on used sanitary fixtures. All products must be delivered in original unopened packaging.
Q. I am a landlord, how often do I need to get a gas check carried out?
A. To comply with the law, you must have a gas safety inspection carried out within every 12 month period.
Q. We are a letting agency, do you offer business payment terms?
A. Yes, strictly 30 days payment terms agreement to North East based agencies.
